The 11th International Conference on Shellfish Restoration was held in historic Charleston, South Carolina. The meeting provided an opportunity for resource managers, shellfish farmers, community activists, historians, and anthropologists to exchange ideas to inform restoration of molluscan shellfish populations while improving water quality and the environmental health of estuarine and coastal systems.
