Cara Blaine

Cara is an early-career scientist with a background in art and design education, outreach, hands-on design & build, and business ownership. In her new role she endeavors to bring her life experience and creative thinking to the world of sustainable aquaculture. As a grad student, Cara’s research focuses on optimization of seaweed farming practices, especially in regards to management and early detection of biofouling species. Cara is interested in work that feeds people and supports small business owners.
