Ruhika Bhattacharya

Ruhika Bhattacharya is a junior at the University of New England, majoring in Marine Science with a concentration in Marine Biology and is expected to graduate Spring of 2024. In addition to all the opportunities the Maine Sea Grant provides, this scholarship will help fund her research on maternity in Spiny dogfish (Squalus acanthias), specifically focusing on trace elements. Ruhika looks forward to all the exciting events that will take place now that she is part of the Sea Grant Family.

Ruhika is a recipient of a 2022 Maine Sea Grant Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences.
