Benjamin LaFreniere

Benjamin LaFreniere is a rising Senior at University of New England (class of 2022) majoring in Marine Science with a concentration in Marine Biology. The Maine Sea Grant Scholarship will help Ben with funding for his 4+1 master’s thesis investigating the Age and Growth of White Hake in the Gulf of Maine. He is very excited to become a member of the Sea Grant family and attend events in the future.

Benjamin is a recipient of a 2021 Maine Sea Grant Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences.
