Asia Alosa began her tenure as a graduate assistant at Maine Sea Grant in November, 2025. Asia helps coordinate research funding and internships, acts as direct support for the Assistant Director for Research, and helps maintain a robust network of partnerships between researchers, stakeholders, and fisheries managers. As a student, her research centers around public communications for sustainable initiatives and technology. She also spends time searching for and educating her community on accessible and affordable options for sustainable living.
