Sea Grant/NMFS Graduate Fellowship Program in Population and Ecosystem Dynamics and Marine Resource Economics

The NMFS - Sea Grant Joint Graduate Fellowship Program in Population and Ecosystem Dynamics and Marine Resource Economics is designed to help Sea Grant fulfill its broad educational responsibilities and to strengthen the collaboration between Sea Grant and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). The Fisheries Fellowship is available to US citizens who are graduate students enrolled in PhD degree programs in academic institutions in the United States and its territories.

Maine Sea Grant Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences

In partnership with undergraduate institutions throughout the state, Maine Sea Grant is now recruiting applications for its annual Undergraduate Scholarship in Marine Sciences. The program is open to current second- and third-year undergraduate students who have declared majors related to marine or coastal issues at any of the participating undergraduate institutions in Maine (College of the Atlantic, Maine Maritime Academy, University of Maine, University of Maine at Machias, University of Southern Maine, and University of New England).

NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship

The Coastal Management Fellowship was established in 1996 to provide on-the-job education and training opportunities in coastal resource management and policy for postgraduate students and to provide project assistance to state coastal zone management programs. The program matches postgraduate students with state coastal zone programs to work on projects proposed by the state and selected by the fellowship sponsor, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coastal Services Center.
